ABSTRACT

Water is the main and primary source of drinking water and without which no one can survive. Nobody Use it for bathing, recreation and any other utility if its quality degrades. Therefore, this research work based on analysis of water quality of Nawabshah city. Statistical and Regression analysis of three points of surface water at Nawabshah was carried out to study the correlation between various physic-chemical parameters. In this research 13 water quality parameters of three sites namely Rohri canal, Gajra Wah and Ghulam Hyder Shah Coloney were estimated following standards methods. The estimated results then were compared with WHO and other standards. The results show that all the samples are free from sulphate. Also, regression analysis of these data points suggests that most of the parameters are more or less correlated with each other. It is suggested that water quality of Nawbshah city can be checked effectively by controlling the parameters of water effectively. This study provides a way to the people of Nawabshah city about the care of drinking water.
Key words: Water quality parameters, Regression equations, Correlation
